Making the Call
Look up your Senators’ phone numbers.
- Visit Congress.org
- Enter your zipcode in the box titled “My Elected Officials”
Tell them you’re counting on their votes!
- “My name is _____, I live in ________, and I’m counting on you to vote for a bill that caps global warming pollution and invests in our clean energy future.”
- Don’t be afraid to leave a voicemail– somebody will check it, promise!
- Ask the name of the aide you talk to.
- Make it clear that you’re a constituent.
- Thank the legislator or aide for their time.
